“Bañolet” premieres in film format
Euskaraz irakurri: “Bañolet” pelikula formatuan estreinatuko da
“Bañolet”, the web series that won the third call for the Durangoko Azoka Creation Scholarship, can be seen starting this Friday, March 17, in cinemas, in a new 50-minute montage.
The work of Paxkal Irigoyen and Maia Iribarne is a participatory project filmed in Eiheralarre with the support of the inhabitants of the area, and tells a story of initiation full of symbolism, magical realism and surrealism.
“Bañolet” will premiere on Friday, March 17, at the Vauban room in Donibane Garazi, where it can also be seen on Saturday with French subtitles. After the first showing, in addition, the creators of the title, both musicians, will play part of the music from the film, which turns out to be one of its strong points.
Next, “Bañolet” can be seen in San Sebastián (Koldo Mitxelena, March 21), Hendaye (Les variétés, March 28), Pamplona (Laba espazioa, April 2), Donapaleu (Saint Louis, April 6) and Baiona (Atalante, April 27).
