There have never been such retreats. The priest’s beatbox conquers the web. “Yo for the Pastor”

The fact that hip-hop can be combined with pastoral ministry has already been shown to us by Fr. Jakub Bartczak. Recently, however, another musical preacher has become a real hit of the network. During his sermon there was a loud yo, beatbox and even a scratch on the priest’s bald head.

A recent sermon during a retreat held in the parish of St. Wita w Słupy conquers the Internet. None of the children staying in the church expected such a turn of events. They learned, among other things, that they can greet the clergy by calling “yo priest, yo priest”.

“Yo means: Jesus Gives Grace.” The hip-hop sermon became a real hit

On the Facebook profile of the parish pd. st. Vitus in Słupy, materials from the mass are published. However, the last sermon during the retreat aroused exceptional interest. – My children, if you say to grandma ‘yo grandma’ and grandma will be surprised, then explain to her: ‘yo means: Jesus gives grace’ – he said.

he also stated that the famous greeting can also be a substitute for “God Bless”. Thus, he sees no problem in calling “yo priest, yo priest”. However, this was not the end of surprises. Immediately after these words, the priest encouraged the participants of the mass to interact together. Those sitting to his left were to clap at the appointed time, while those to his right were to say a loud “yo” at that time. Suddenly the priest began.

Viewers delighted with the hip-hop sermon. The video is a real sensation

The video from the parish in Słupy quickly collects views. Although their profile is watched by only 1,200 people, the recording has already been watched by almost four times as many users. Both the spectators and the participants of the retreat are delighted with the unusual sermon.
