Dutch authorities have charged two celebrities associated with “The Voice Holland”. The artists were accused of sexually harassing people participating in the popular show. The charges were heard by Jeroen Rietbergen – musician, ex-husband of actress Linda de Mol and sister of the creator of the “The Voice” format, John de Mola, and Ali B – rapper and trainer known from the program.

According to hollywoodreporter.com, Rietbergen was accused of sexually assaulting a woman “in or around a recording studio” during the 2018 show. The artist admitted that he had sexual relationships with the women involved in “The Voice Holland”, but denied that he forced them to do so. The musician testified that he does not believe that he abused his position or power.
Ali B, in turn, was accused of three sexual assaults (one allegedly against a person associated with the program). The rapper also rejected all charges and declared cooperation with the police.

The third man suspected of sexual abuse is singer Marco Borsato. Due to lack of evidence, no charges were brought against him. The investigation was discontinued.
In January 2022, the broadcaster RTL removed “The Voice of Holland” from the schedule, citing the misconduct of the creators and abuse. Sister talent show formats such as “” and “” were also suspended.
