On January 1, 2023, the popular actress entered the government of Brazilian President Lula da Silva. As one of the politicians of the Working Party, the star will be one of the three people responsible for managing the Ministry of Culture.
In May, the actress turned 66 years old. After the success of “Slaves of Isaura” she appeared in other popular telenovelas, such as “Stone Circle”. In recent years, the star has performed mainly on the stage of theaters and tried her hand at politics. She competed in for a seat in the Chamber of Deputies on behalf of the Brazilian Socialist Party.
