Oscar awards
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences celebrates the 95th edition of the renowned Oscar awards on Sunday, March 12. The gala takes place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, where the nominated stars walk the red carpet and hope to hear their names when the winners of the respective categories are announced. The nominations were announced with the ribbon in January Everything everywhere at once take the lead.
Other notable productions are The Fablesby Steven Spielberg; Avatar: The way of the waterby James Cameron; And, Top gun: Maverickby Joseph Kosinski.
The gala starts at 8:00 PM (local time). In Colombia, Ecuador and Panama it can be seen from 6 p.m., with the start of the red carpet. It airs on TNT (cable), in stream through HBO Max.
Oscar Festival at Cinemark and Supercines
Whether or not they bag an Oscar on Sunday night, March 12, the nominees for the Academy Awards statuettes are already the winners for their acclaimed nominations. In addition, critics have positioned them as the best of the year for their stories and interpretations, among other things. In the month of March, the Alliance Française celebrates the month of francophony with the screening of a series of feature films in the French language. These films will be available at the AF headquarters in Guayaquil:
–Memory box (Lebanon, drama), March 13
–the mandate (Senegal, drama), March 14
–A river Métisée (Canada, documentary), March 15
–Jumbo (Belgium, drama), March 16
–au revoir bonheur (Canada, comedy), March 17
–Adama (France, adventure, children’s audience); wulu (France, adventure), March 18
French Alliance of Guayaquil, at Hurtado 436 and José Mascote. All bands are projected at 7:00 PM Adama (10:00).
Third and final season of lasso
the treasure Ted Lasso returns in the third and final installment of the Apple TV series with the same name. The premiere of the final season of the manager of the fictional AFC Richmond, in the United Kingdom, arrives this Wednesday, March 15.
