The Navarra bookstore association has chosen its favorite books for the year 2022. It is the essay by Paco Cerdá “April 14th” (Asteroid Books) in the Spanish category, the collection of poems by Angel Erro “Liburu bat poem” (Erein) between works in Basque and “Ugh!, a story from the Pleistocene” (Ekaré) by Rafael Yockteng and Jairo Buitrago in the illustration category.

Pain and pleasure are the main axes of the book of poems by Angel Erro (Burlada, 1978); In the opinion of the Navarrese bookstores, it is a work that contains “poems written at different times and on disparate themes” and can be considered as an anthology.

The essay by the Valencian Paco Cerdà “April 14” gives a voice, as explained by the organization of the prize, to all those forgotten about a key day, that of the proclamation of the Second Spanish Republic.

The protagonists of the curious illustrated album “Ugh!, a story from the Pleistocene” are the members of a prehistoric clan on their dangerous journey in search of a refuge to spend the harsh winter that is coming.
