In addition, Netflix has introduced two new titles to the game collection. The first one is “Dust & Neon” – a futuristic shooter in which the player turns into a cyborg gunslinger and fights an army of robots in the Wild West. Another novelty is “Tomb Raider Reloaded”, where the user can play the legendary character from the virtual world – Lara Croft.
However, the most interesting from the perspective of users who care about their privacy will be changes in the management of access and devices using the platform under one account. As we read on the Wirtualne Media portal, Netflix offers users a function thanks to which the account owner can check which devices are connected to a specific profile. This means that you can see what content other users have viewed and how often they spend time on the platform. It’s a problem if some viewers don’t want anyone to know what’s in their library.
However, there is a simple solution for this – a separate account. Netflix’s tactic is therefore simple – account sharing protects users’ wallets, but it increasingly interferes with their privacy.
