On Wednesday, March 8, the House of Ecuadorian culture, core of Guayas, opened the 2023 edition of the Women’s room Women in action. The act was accompanied by the award ceremony with the winning work urban imaginations, by Claudia Barreiro Moreira.

Honorable mentions went to Miyensen Burgos pin for his work Today I want to be president!; Gabriela Serrano Soto for his work Not one less, And Maya Silva Benavides for his work Stop and smell the roses (Stop and smell the roses).
The recognized works were chosen by a qualified jury consisting of Tania Lombeida Miño, María Fernanda Mora-Souet and Judy Hasing Sanchez.
This edition had the slogan to strive for the artists to express all actions and professions in their works dignifying the role of women and their active participation in society.
The reception of works was given until Wednesday, March 1. According to a statement from the institution, 61 works were received from thirteen provinces of the country.
Of this number, 24 works were selectedwhich will be exposed until April 10, 2023 in the Manuel Rendón Seminario Museum, on the first floor of the House of Culture, in the center of Guayas.
