Foreign media point out that Judge Laura Ruiz Alaminos took into account all the circumstances of the case, not only those resulting from the signed prenuptial agreement. First of all, it was the fact that a woman, after 25 years of work in the form of e.g. raising children, washing, cleaning, cooking, etc., she would be left with nothing.
The “Daily Mail” reports that the man must pay the woman £ 180,000, which gives almost PLN 1 million.
How did the judiciary estimate this amount? The minimum wage for all the years and months of marriage during which the woman devoted her time, energy and commitment to running the household was added together.
