For 100 days he ate only McDonald’s to… lose weight! The effects are surprising

He went on a diet of eating only McDonald’s for 100 days. The effects are really surprising. Can the McDonald’s diet be a tasty and safe way to lose weight?

This man made a splash on TikTok when he informed his viewers that he was going on a rather controversial diet, which consisted of eating only McDonald’s for 100 days.

Kevin Maginnis stated at the weigh-in in February that he was unhappy with his weight. He then weighed 107.9 kg. He then stated that if he only ate McDonald’s, it would help him lose weight quickly.

The 56-year-old from Nashville first announced his 100-day challenge on TikTok as a joke

Kevin Maginnis, before he decided to give up the McDonald’s diet seriously, announced it on TikTok as a joke:

If you want to be in better shape McDonald’s is the place to go.

Of course, as anyone can guess, there are many other, better diets that will provide us with the right amount of nutrients and help us not only lose weight, but also improve our health. Kevin’s plan, however, is not what he eats, but how much.

The controversial diet caused a stir among fans on TikTok

Kevin explained to fans on his TikTok:

I know some of you think I’m crazy, but I’m going to eat nothing but McDonald’s for the next 100 days anyway. I’ll order meals and eat half a portion. Instead of cola or other drink, I will bet on water.

While McDonald’s offers healthier options such as salads and chicken sandwiches, apples and even oatmeal, it wasn’t healthy food that interested Kevin.

His typical menu for the day included: McMuffin and hash brown for breakfast, burger and large fries, dessert for lunch and dinner. All half portions.

Kevin called his challenge 1/2 Size Me. It was inspired by the Super Size Me experiment by Morgan Spurloc, who struggled with serious health consequences after its completion

Morgan Spurloc ate McDonald’s for a month in his experiment. He gained 11 kg. In addition, he observed elevated cholesterol, mood swings, depression, chest pain, fatigue. His diet also resulted in a fatty liver.

Kevin, however, bases his diet on caloric deficit. Smaller portions for breakfast, lunch and dinner for 100 days, according to Kevin, will certainly make him lose weight.

And oh my god, that’s what’s happening.

Already on the 10th day, Kevin lost over 5 kg. In addition to detailed diet reports, the man shares with his followers the results of the blood tests he regularly undergoes.

Fans, after seeing Kevin’s research, did not hide their surprise:

If my test results looked like this, I wouldn’t go anywhere near McDonald’s again.

These are not good results, contact your doctor.

– they commented on the videos.

And you? What do you think about the new McDonald’s diet? Miracle diet, or maybe another dangerous internet challenge?
