The thirteenth pension is a one-off, additional benefit that has been supported for several years. Payments are planned for April and due to the indexation they are record-breaking, as they will amount to the minimum pension, ie PLN 1588.44 gross. However, it is worth knowing that last year, according to the regulation of the Minister of Finance, the “thirteen” was exempt from tax, so seniors did not have to settle it. In practice, this meant that they received more money in hand. Unfortunately, this provision only applied oncewhich means tax will be deducted from this year’s withdrawals.
What transfers can seniors count on? It depends on the amount of your pension
If this year the 13th old-age pension was also exempted from , seniors could count on payments in the amount of PLN 1,445.48 net. Unfortunately, the higher the benefit is collected by the senior, the lower the amount in the case of “thirteen” will affect his account. According to the portal’s calculations, only people who receive a pension of up to PLN 900 gross can count on the maximum transfer in April (PLN 1,445.48). What does it look like in other cases?
- PLN 1,500 gross benefits -> PLN 1,374.48 on the thirteenth
- PLN 2,500 gross benefit or more -> PLN 1,253.48 on the thirteenth
It is worth knowing that the “thirteen” will be credited to seniors’ accounts together with the payment of the pension. Those who receive it on the 1st and 10th of the month in April can count on earlier transfers, because in the first case it is a Saturday, and in the second a holiday.
