The song “Never Enough” became a worldwide hit, which gained gold status in several countries, including Poland. Even people who have never seen the movie it comes from know it. However, not everyone knows that the song was not sung by the actress playing Jenny Lind, but by someone completely different. The real singer did not become international, however, as she preferred to sing from behind the scenes. Nevertheless, a few years after the premiere of the film, she decided to go on stage and show the British “Mam Talent” who is behind the worldwide hit. After her performance, Simon Cowell said he was speechless.

Loren Allred appeared in the 15th edition of Britain’s Got Talent. – I think some of you may already know my voice, but certainly not my face. That’s because I sang “Never Enough” in The Greates Showman,” she said. It turned out that she was initially hired to record supporting vocals for the actresses, and the song itself was to be performed by Rebecca Ferguson, i.e. the role of Jenny. However, when she heard Loren’s voice, she decided without hesitation that she should sing. And so it happened. The actress only moved her lips.

The judges were surprised. asked Loran why she didn’t take the opportunity and fight for fame, to which the singer honestly admitted that so far she preferred to sing from behind the scenes, because she felt more comfortable. However, she was mature enough to finally show her face and stand on the stage in the glare of the spotlights. As she revealed, she always felt that this song was meant for her, which is why she sang it. Her performance was so poignant and beautiful that she was awarded a gold button without a word, and later reached the finals, where she took 9th place. In 2021, she released her first album.
