For several weeks, the case of a 21-year-old Polish woman who claims that she is Missing British Madeleine McCann years ago has been loud. In her opinion, the parents who raised her are not her biological parents. In addition, she noticed similarities in her appearance to Madeleine McCann, who disappeared in 2007. She pointed out moles in characteristic places and eye disease.
Julia Faustyna suddenly disappeared from social media. “I don’t need fans or followers”
Her theories and alleged “evidence” that she is Madeleine McCann presented on her Instagram, TikTok and Facebook profiles. Suddenly, however, she decided to delete the social media accounts where she spread her theories. She made a short statement on Instagram:
If you don’t like my content, don’t follow it. I don’t need fans or followers. I’m shutting down Facebook and Tiktok so you guys don’t make fun of me
– she wrote, and shortly after that she also closed her Instagram account.
It is not known whether she did it herself or if it was the result of someone from the outside. Some time ago, Julia’s parents also decided to address the matter. Their statement appeared on the Facebook profile “Lost years ago”:
It is obvious to us as a family that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and stepdaughter. We have memories, we have pictures (…). We always tried to understand any situations that happened with Julia. Numerous therapies, drugs, psychologists and psychiatrists – all this was provided to Julka. She was not left alone. Threats against us from Julia, her lies and manipulations, activities on the Internet. We saw all this and we tried to prevent it, explain it, we asked her to stop.
