This past February there were 609 fewer unemployed (0.54%) than in the previous month in the BAC, for a total of 112,296 in Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, as reported by the Basque Government Employment Department.
Regarding the interannual data, 3,519 fewer unemployed were registered than in the same month of the previous year.
In Navarra, registered unemployment rose by 366 people in February, which represents an increase of 1.14% compared to January, bringing the total number of unemployed to 32,364. Thus, in Navarra there are 1,329 fewer unemployed than in February 2022, a figure that in percentage terms translates into a year-on-year decrease of 3.94%.
In the State, the number of unemployed people has increased by 2,618 people, at the end of the second month of the year, 0.01% more than in January, and places the total number of unemployed at 2,911,015 people, the lowest data since 2008 In the interannual rate, compared to February 2022, the number of unemployed has decreased by 200,669 people (-6.45%).
