The song not only won the Eurovision Song Contest, but also became a worldwide hit, reaching the top of the charts in 21 countries. Now she has a chance to represent her country again in this prestigious competition.
Loreen has a chance to perform on the Eurovision stage again
The artist has just presented her latest single “Tattoo”. It was with this song that she performed in this year’s Melodifestivalen concert, i.e. the Swedish pre-selection for Eurovision. The song managed to qualify for the finals, in which the artist will fight for the title of representative of the country.
The latest proposal from Loreen is a pop song that immediately knocks us into the chair. From the beginning, we hear the artist’s strong vocals, which, combined with the increasing pace of the song, makes us feel strong emotions throughout its length.
As for the title of the song, the artist herself explained it with the words: “Your love is etched in me like a tattoo.” This is how she described her message:
It’s a song about love. It has strength and depth. I tend to talk about love because there is nothing more important! Especially in these times, we should give each other love. When I first heard this song, I felt with my whole body that something was about to happen. I had the same feeling before with the single »Euphoria«
Loreen is the author of the text, and she was helped by, among others, Jimmy “Joker” Thörnfeldt (Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, Eurovision 2021), Moa Carlebecker (better known under the pseudonym Cazzi Opeia), or Thomas G:son (co-creator of Loreen’s biggest hit – “Euphoria”).
The grand finale of Melodifestivalen is scheduled for March 11, 2023. That’s when we’ll see if Loreen will represent her country in the Eurovision Song Contest again. At the moment, it is known that the popularity of the song is increasing and it is quite possible that it will become a big hit on radio stations.
