Fans will no longer enjoy Blink-182 concerts. The American band has decided cancel their presentations in Latin America in 2023The reason is the accident that one of its members had.

“It is with deep sadness that we have to report this blink-182 will not tour Mexico and South America in 2023 and therefore the band will not perform at the twelfth edition of the Picnic stereo festival”, the festival organizers revealed.

Travis Barker, drummer in the band, recently dislocated his finger and underwent surgery. This was announced by singer Tom DeLonge with a video on his social networks.

I wanted to say to everyone in South America that I’m sorry because we can’t be there.. We worked really hard and one of those crazy accidents happened that no one saw coming,” he said at the beginning of his post.

The artist continued his message saying: “Travis had surgery and we need to be good and strong before we do anything else. This is very sad”.

Not all is lost Well, the band plans to resume its Latin America tour in 2024. The group had planned a tour for 2023, which would begin on March 11 in Mexico and included participation in Chile’s Lollapalooza music festival.

In one of the rehearsals for the tour, the drummer hit one of his fingers hard and tore his tires. From this point on, the long-awaited Blink-182 tour began to be jeopardized.
