The songs of the legendary band the Beatles the corners of the Saint Gabriel Theater, in Quito. The Foundation Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ecuador (FOSJE) will be offering his show this Friday and Saturday ‘Symphonic Beatles’which will bring together more than 70 people on stage.

Patrick Ayaga, FOSJE teacher, indicates that it is a show that lasts two hours. Although they have presented it before, he assures that the current concert comes with a renewed repertoire. “It’s a classic that people of all ages enjoy (…) listening to their music is always something current, it’s something present…”says Aizaga.

The vocal interpretations are the responsibility of the soloists Martin Teran, Jennifer Byron, Ian Pico and Do Blanco. In addition to the orchestra, the rock band also participates beatheadz integrated by: Ernest Lopez And Carlos Buenanoguitars; Andres Herbozolow; Joaquin Teran, battery; And Ana Millan, keyboards. All this under the artistic direction of the master Aizaga.

Aizaga describes this concert as something special, especially because the 50 young musicians convey that energy. “Playing symphonic rock is very important to me, because it allows a symphony orchestra to approach a different type of audience, because maybe there are people who don’t go to a symphony orchestra very regularly, or people who haven’t listened much to rock. It can be a very positive experience,’ he says.

Among the 25 iconic songs they will be performing are Yellow Subamrine, Penny Lane, yesterday, I want you, let it be, imagine, among other things.

‘Symphonic Beatles’ It will take place this Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25 at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are available at www.teatrosangabriel.com and at theater box offices. The cost for each seat is as follows: $40 VIP Box, $30 front seat, $25 rear seat. Seniors and people with disabilities receive a 50% discount on their tickets.

The FOSJE was born in 1995, as a powerful social inclusion tool for children and young people with low and medium economic resources. Since 2014, FOSJE integrates in its activity the special education program with inclusive groups designed for children, youth and adults with disabilities such as Down syndrome, hearing loss, Asperger’s, muscular dystrophy, learning disabilities.
