On February 24, the musician appeared at a hospital located in Harlow, Essex. He managed to help as many as 20 people, for which he paid about 6,000. pounds, or roughly 32,000. zlotys. The artist assures that he has no intention of abandoning his charity and will “pay for as much research as he can”.

In 2019, Rod Stewart managed to win the fight against prostate cancer. The man was only able to get started immediately because he knew the diagnosis quickly. The musician realizes that due to the underfunding of the NHS, not every patient has a chance to undergo the necessary tests in time. For this reason, he decided to help those waiting for treatment himself.

“If it’s successful, I’ll continue it in Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester,” he said. This isn’t Stewart’s only plan to improve the NHS. The artist believes that the basis for reducing the time required to conduct research is to increase nurses’ salaries. As he himself said, they are the “salt of the earth”.
