It is with sadness and deep regret that we say goodbye to a great actor. We extend our deepest condolences to his daughter, and our friend, Katarzyna Kozak, and to the entire family of the deceased.
The Cossack was 82 years old. Over the years, he managed to create memorable roles in performances such as: “On Table Behavior” (1976) directed by Marian Jonkajtys, “Fanfan Tulipan” (1979) directed by Wieńczysław Gliński, “66 Falls of Bunga or Demonic Woman” (1983) Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz directed by Janusz Tartyłło or “Jan Maciej Karol Wścieklica” (1985) directed by Andrzej Maria Marczewski.
Andrzej Kozak will be said goodbye by his relatives on March 9 at 12:20 pm during the funeral mass in the Chapel of St. Resurrection of the Lord at the Rakowicki Cemetery.
The actor was born in 1940 and started his career in the 1960s. He started with television shows, as well as playing in the performances of the Warsaw Dramatic Theater and the Komedia Theatre. In the 1970s, Kozak was focused almost exclusively on acting in the theater. He joined the Teatr na Targówek team, where he worked until the early 1990s.
Throughout his life, Kozak focused on theater roles, but he also appeared in series. Viewers of Polish productions may remember the actor from the TV series “Klan”.
