He said, ‘Women don’t propose to men.’
The journalist, however, agreed after some time, and the couple had to obtain permission from the Bishop of Chichester to get married and be able to formalize their relationship. All because they were not yet 21 years old. Judy Cornwell and John Kelsall Parry said their sacramental “yes” at St. Helena in Hangleton.
