The hearts of fans of the iconic “Rocky” beat faster for a moment. A post with photos of the first entries in the script for the next part appeared for a while on the profile of Sylvester Stallone himself. Unfortunately, as the creator of the character himself admits, the film will probably never be made. Who’s to blame?
These units “will never make a movie.” Who is it about?
Fans who managed to see the post (shortly after its publication, Stallone deleted the entry) may wonder what stands in the way of the next part of the film. Photos, as well as the content of the message addressed to fans of the series, can now be found on Twitter of one of the fans. It is also worth recalling that the celebrity not only played the role of a boxer, but is also responsible for its creation.
However, the rights to the series belong to 91-year-old Irwin Winkler. For years, Sylvester Stallone has been in open conflict with the producer, him about “being a parasite” benefiting from the legendary saga of boxing movies. So it can be assumed that the “certain individuals” that will not create the next part of “Rocky” are Winkler and his family.
What would the seventh part of “Rocky” be about? The late wife of the boxer was supposed to appear in the film
The pictures of the script published by Stallone showed some prototypes of scenes that were to appear in the film. In the seventh part of “Rocky”, the boxer was supposed to fight for “the neighborhood that raised him and still loves him.” Balboa was scheduled to face a 27-year-old fighter signed as Chucho the Mutt.
The deceased wife of the main character Adrian, played by Talia Shire, would also return to the series. It is not known, however, whether Rocky’s conversation with his beloved would be just a memory or a real return of the heroine to the film Philadelphia.
