According to the act, each senior will receive an additional transfer in the form of “”. This year it will amount to PLN 1,588.44 gross, i.e. the minimum benefit, and it will be credited to the accounts together with the target pension. It turns out that some people can count on an earlier cash flow. – ZUS will pay thirteen along with the benefit due for April. Some pensioners will receive their 13th a little earlier, because the first payment deadline (April 1) falls on the weekend – explained Prof. Gertruda Uścińska, president of the Social Insurance Institution. On March 28, ZUS will transfer money to the Polish Post Office for payments. This means that people who normally receive their pension on April 1 can count on the “thirteen” as early as March 31.
Who else will get an early transfer? Seniors can count on it
An earlier transfer can also count on those who receive a retirement or disability pension on April 10. Because this year it falls on Boxing Day, the money should reach them before Easter. Seniors who have payments on later days, i.e. on the 15th, 20th and 25th of the month, will receive their pension after Christmas in April. On the other hand, those who receive pre-retirement benefits and allowances must wait until May.

Importantly, this year the “thirteen” are not exempt from tax, which means that seniors can count on a transfer in the amount of PLN 1,588.44 gross, a net amounts will vary. The higher the pension, the lower the additional transfer will be. According to Fakt.pl, persons who receive benefits up to PLN 900 after indexation will receive PLN 1,445.48 net of the “thirteen”, while from PLN 2,500 gross pension or disability pension, it will amount to approx. PLN 1,254.48 net.
