Women loved it so much that the shops were filled with peplum dresses. And that’s probably why over time it was considered mass kitsch. But as it has happened more than once in fashion, trends come back after years and we appreciate them again. Thus, in the spring of 2023, the basque is on time againbut not only on dresses. In stores you can see its new version, this time the peplum adorns … jackets!

A surprising combination in Lidl. Basque and jeans
It will probably come as no surprise that everything denim is still on trend this spring. The most desirable will be total looks, e.g. a denim jumpsuit. However, the katana itself is an incredibly fashionable outerwear, and denim has a certain magical property, it goes with everything. It will add a bit of lightness to a more elegant dress, it will perfectly complement a sporty styling in any color. What if you combine a katana with a basque? It sounds surprising, but the effect can be interesting. I found a denim jacket with a peplum in the Lidl online store. And in my opinion, it looks great and very original! It also has a certain girlish charm. In addition to the classic shade of blue, it is also available in white.

I found a similar jacket at Bonprix. This one, however, has a completely different color. And it is the most fashionable viva magenta this season, i.e. a combination of red and pink. It is still a denim jacket, but thanks to the color and peplum it definitely stands out.
