What was his life like?

He got into acting by chance. He quickly fell in love with a friend from college

Jerzy Bińczycki was born on September 6, 1937 and came from Witkowice. As it turns out, initially the man did not associate his future with . He was naturally shy and had a passion for architecture. In 1956 they moved back to Kraków.

Unfortunately, the marriage did not last the test of time. The couple decided to divorce, but they still spoke about each other with a lot of respect and affection. After some time, Bińczycki admitted that such relationships are nonsense for him. – I do not believe in actor marriages, such relationships have little chance of survival – the artist when asked about the reasons for parting.

For a long time, Bińczycki could not open up to a new feeling. Instead, he focused on his career. The actor played in such as “Nights and Days”, “Point of View”, or the aforementioned “Quick”.

In the 1980s, Jerzy Bińczycki met his second wife, Elżbieta Godorowska. The woman, 17 years younger, was a theatrologist by profession. Their acquaintance began with an interview to which the woman invited the actor. So we made a serious connection. Although the actor has repeatedly assured that his family is his priority, he still has a great feeling for acting. – He said that you work in the theater and love your wife, but you could see that he approached the theater very emotionally – admitted his wife in one of the interviews. Bińczycki’s last public appearance took place in September 1998 during the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the first heart transplantation in Krakow. The actor died of a heart attack on October 2 of the same year.
