The rapper from Poznań has always been known for his strong statements and cut retorts. He has five solo studio albums and twenty released with the group Slums Attack. The most famous song performed by him is “Deaf Night” from 2004. The song even managed to break through to commercial radio stations, which were eager to play it at the time.
Peja attacks and surprises in the latest song
Last year, the famous song resounded at the Bemowo airport during the “History of Polish Hip-Hop” event, organized by the composer and music producer Jimek. During the event, the greatest songs of Polish rap in a symphonic version were played. They performed, among others performers such as: Grammatk, Bedoes, Fenomen, Kaliber 44, Tede, Płomień 81, Sokół, Zip Skład and Żabson.
Peja was not among the performers, but this did not prevent the organizers from making his “Deaf Night” sound during this event. Jimek’s orchestra performed this piece, which the rapper from Poznań did not like. In the latest single “Azarenka” he clearly stated what he thinks about it:
I didn’t ask for anything, but it’s worth asking why fool around like Jimek in Bemowo with »Deaf Night«
Even worse hit the organizers of the Popkillery gala. In 2022, the rapper received a statuette in the specially created “Fair Play” category. In the last song, he also decided to comment on it, saying directly what he thinks about it: “They wanted to give Popkiller for being a cool guy, they would give anything but music.”
A lot of comments from indignant Internet users who did not agree with the rapper appeared on the network. Some of them sound like this:
Zero progress. Eternal moan of the diva
And you asked Stan Borys if you can use samples for »Deaf Night«? (…)
Peja, as always, has a grudge against everyone
