The new Polish series from Viaplay will tell the story of a fictional food critic. His opinions expressed on television programs and restaurant reviews can ensure the success of establishments, but also lead to bankruptcy. When Jacek reaches his professional peak, his life changes dramatically.
I came up with the idea for this series in the spring of 2019. No one has heard of the coronavirus pandemic yet, but already in the air, in the cinema and theater you could feel that something was burning out. The main character of “Udar”, Jacek, offers a different view of the world – vital, believing that the best is yet to come, and the last word has not yet been said – says Paweł Demirski.
The creator of the script and the originator of the series is Paweł Demirski, who is also responsible for directing along with Rafał Skalski and Antonio Galdamez.
