“Whale” is the latest work of Darren Aronofski, the author of such hits as “Requiem for a Dream”, “Black Swan”, “The Source” and “The Wrestler”. The director says about him:
This is a unique film that teaches empathy, and the main character is not one-dimensional. It has advantages and disadvantages. It is neither positive nor negative.
The main character of “Wieloryb” is Charlie, who has been living on the margins of the world for years, trapped in a small apartment due to morbid obesity. Rejected, not without reason, by his relatives, he is heading alone into the abyss of life. However, one impulse, one meeting is enough to ignite a flame of hope that all is not lost yet. Charlie tries to reconnect with his teenage daughter. He knows that an incredibly difficult task awaits him. He realizes that he risks losing his last illusion. However, he is ready to take this risk with the belief that there is still a chance for redemption for him as well.
“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantomania” – here superheroes Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return as Ant-Man and the Wasp. The latest production from Marvel Studios is directed by Peyton Reed, and the film will also star, among others. Jonathan Majors as Kang.
ABOUT “Close” directed by Lukas Dhont, Bartłomiej Marcinkowski wrote in September last year:
The main characters are thirteen-year-old Léo and Rémi, who are friends and spend every moment together. The action of the film takes place over a year, beginning and ending in the summer. And the picture itself can be divided into two parts, which means that the initial and final holidays will be completely different from each other.

“Fraud” This, in turn, is an offer for lovers of thrillers. Here, no one is who they say they are and – as the creators promise – a good cast is not the only advantage of the production.
“The Girl and the Cosmonaut” from Netflix is a Polish proposal that is not only a love story. The description reads: “The return of an astronaut after a 30-year absence rekindles an old love and piques the interest of a corporation eager to discover why he hasn’t aged at all.”
