The composer and conductor Maria Schneider and the pianist Brad Mehldau are the first two figures confirmed for the 46th edition of the Vitoria Jazz Festival, which will be held from July 3 to 8.
On Wednesday, July 5, the American Maria Schneider will present his latest album “Data Lords” together with the Oslo Jazz Ensemble group. After a decade of collaborations, Schneider and the Norwegian musicians will tour European festivals, including Vitoria.
In addition, on Thursday, July 6, the pianist from Florida will take the stage Brad Mehldau in the company of Larry Grenadier, on double bass and Jeff Ballard, on drums.
