At the end of the Jana School’s first yeara Spanish franchise present in several countries and notable for its extensive preparation of children and young people through musical theatrehis students prepare their first show.

The chosen work will be an emotional adaptation of the drama antigone, from Sophocles. in the staging More than 70 students between the ages of 6 and 16 participate of the renowned art academy.

The musical titled Antigone has a plan tells about the adventures of princess antigone to expose the crimes of his uncle, King Creon, and the soldiers who support him to bring justice to the city of Thebes. All with varied elements, such as princesses, kings, palaces, philosophers, witches, vultures, magic, zombies, battles and morewhich will contribute to the climax of the fantastic story.

Theatricality is supplemented with songs and fun choreography which will transport the audience that attends the main stage of the Teatro Sánchez Aguilar traveling through ancient Greece.

The purpose of the theater is to show the audience the result of a year of learning and provide a scenic space where small future Ecuadorian artists will be able to express their art and develop fully.

This Sunday, January 29 you can enjoy the show in three functions: at 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The single ticket has a value of $15 and can be purchased on the theater’s website and at the box office.
