Netflixthe streaming giant, is introducing changes to its platform to avoid losing more subscribers, a trend that has been highlighted since it announced that account sharing outside of a single home would no longer be allowed.
One of those measures is to lower the value of its subscriptions, something it started two days ago in Ecuador. Netflix has informed its users in an email that “very soon” they will pay less for their subscription, the value of which depends on the number of devices that can view their catalog at the same time, in addition to the quality of the image.
Now users pay for the basic plan $4.99 (previously $7.99), for the standard $7.99 (was $10.99) and for the premium $10.99 (was $13.99).

Due to the reduction in the cost of the subscriptions, users may decide to upgrade their subscription and increase the number of eligible devices and image quality.
So you can move up or down in the plan
The plan change to a plan with a lower price will be applied on the next billing date. You can continue to use the features of the higher priced plan until your next billing date.
