Complaints related to the amount of celebrity pensions do not subside. The rates offered to ZUS stars have been talked about for weeks. Those commenting on the case are divided into those who admit that the system does not work well, and hunger benefits are not due to anyone, regardless of social status, and those who claim that artists had a lot of time and opportunities to secure their future.

After all, even those whose earnings have been more than satisfactory for years complain about the amount of their pension. Among them we will find a disco polo star, whose benefit is PLN 386 or , which has been present on the stage for years. The singer, like, for example, Beata Tyszkiewicz, explains that in the past, little was said about contributions, hence such low payments.
Zygmunt Chajzer commented on the situation in an interview with the editorial office of “Wprost”. The well-known presenter did not mince words and summed up the claims of celebrities.
“I don’t really know where these complaints come from. I think that the artists were not very interested in the subject of pensions. Nobody really thought about it. We earned a lot, it was nice to earn, it was ok and it seemed that it would always be like this. (. ..) Artists and actors, I have the impression, have not yet figured out how this mechanism works” – comments Chajzer.

The host of well-known game shows also notes that even savings in many cases would unfortunately not help, because the world and the economic situation in Poland and around the world are changing too fast.
“If someone has been thinking that he does not pay contributions but earns great money, so he decided that he will accumulate a mountain and it will be enough for the rest of his life and there will still be some left over, this is not always the case, because inflation, not always successful investments “However, it varies. And retirement is a fairly reliable source of income and is very useful in old age” – added Chajzer.
At the same time, the presenter revealed that he himself does not share the fate of complaining celebrities. He said that he pays contributions himself, so he does not have to worry about starvation benefits.
“For twenty-odd years, almost thirty, I worked full-time at Polish Radio and for every zloty I earned – these were not colossal amounts, but quite decent, because I was the editorial manager – I paid pension contributions” – confirms the host of “Go all the way” .
