Remember Taylor from Fashion for Success? Life has hit her hard, today she doesn’t resemble her former self

Hunter Tylo was born Deborah Jo Hunter in Fort Worth, Texas on July 3, 1962. She was raised in Springtown along with her siblings. In addition to Deborah, there were three children in the house – Elizabeth, Cliff and Jay. He remembers the relationship with the latter very dramatically – the boy suffered from mental illness. In interviews, the actress repeatedly mentioned that she was very afraid of him. Not only her, however – he terrorized members of the entire family.

He kept telling me I shouldn’t have been born. I remember one situation when, after taking LSD, he kept my whole family at home armed with a shotgun. Later he tried to tell us that it was our fault because we provoked him. It is sad. After many stays in psychiatric hospitals, he settled on the street. He only visited our mother from time to time – said the star in one of the interviews.

After the death of their mother, the siblings did not keep in touch. Jay passed away in 2018.

Modeling, medical studies and acting

Hunter was already exceptionally beautiful as a child. At first, she had no plans to pursue an acting career. She has won many beauty contests. Miss Springtown and Miss Teen Fort Worth. There, her beauty was even more noticed, which is why new opportunities quickly began to appear. Selected by modeling agencies, she received her first advertising proposals. She quickly became one of the most recognizable models of the 70s and 80s. In total, she played in over 500 advertising campaigns.

However, Deborah did not abandon her education. Despite her door-opening beauty, she did well in high school. Moreover, after graduating from high school, she began studying medicine at Fordham University. However, she did not finish her studies, but she got a role in the popular series “Fashion for Success”, where she played the role of Taylor Hayes and permanently entered the pop culture cards.

Her private life was not a bed of roses

At the age of 18, the model got married. It was in 1980 and her first husband was Tom Morehart. From this marriage was born a son – Christopher “Chris” Morehart. It was not a long relationship – the couple divorced after 4 years, in 1984. The actress quickly found comfort in the arms of another man. Three years later, she got married again. This time the chosen one of her heart was the film partner of the series “All My Children” Michael Tylo. They had three children together – Izabelle Gabrielle, Katye Ariel and a son – Micheal called Mickey.

Almost all newspapers wrote about the marriage of these two. Their turbulent lives were caused by Michael’s obsessive jealousy. The actor did not allow his wife to wear miniskirts, as well as shoes that were worn on the ankle.

Morbid rules and restrictions prevented normal marriage relationships. In addition, it was said that the actor was aggressive towards his wife. Apparently, during one of the family quarrels, he pushed her so hard that she fell over in the street, cutting her eyebrow. Tylo, however, became more and more confident thanks to her popularity in the soap opera “Fashion for Success”. This strongly influenced her behavior – she dared to go out of the framework imposed by her husband. She began to lead a party lifestyle, broke the imposed rules, and finally got into an affair on the set of the miniseries “The Maharaja’s Daughter”. However, Michael was so “gracious” that he forgave his wife for cheating. Despite this, their relationship soon went through a crisis again. They divorced in 2005.

Hunter’s marriage to Michael was difficult due to jealousy, betrayal and violence. However, their poor relationship also consists of real family dramas. In 1998, they experienced a real nightmare. Katya’s younger daughter was diagnosed with a rare eyeball cancer. Doctors had to remove her right eye, but after some time it turned out that the cancer had invaded the other eye. Luckily it was saved.

This is not the end of the blows that hit this family. Their son, Mickey, drowned in the pool. The boy was only 19 years old. He suffered from epilepsy, and it was an epileptic seizure that is believed to be the main cause of his drowning. The attack was most likely related to the discontinuation of medication that Mickey’s therapist, Shanna Downing, prescribed. The woman helped the boy cope with the painful separation of his parents.

The actress met her next husband via the Internet. Even more surprising, through a Christian Internet forum. Archila’s Gerrson didn’t know who she was talking to at first, as Tylo decided to hide her identity under a false name. When they met for the first time in real life, it turned out that they live close to each other. Two months later, on November 29, 2009, they got married in Las Vegas. In November 2016, Hunter retired from show business. Two years later, she explained that she had done so under her husband’s orders. She officially confessed that she planned to divorce him. And so it happened – in August 2018, this marriage was annulled.

Hunter Tylo couldn’t accept the natural process of aging. She has repeatedly emphasized in interviews that if there was any medicine to stop youth, she would be willing to pay any price for it. She tried so hard to keep her youth, so afraid of having wrinkles, that she became a victim of plastic surgery. Performing subsequent aesthetic medicine treatments, she fell into a real trap from which she was unable to withdraw. Lip augmentation, breast augmentation, Botox injections or eye surgery are just some of the “experiments” she has done. For the perfect wasp waist, she did not hesitate to remove two of her ribs.

Not all treatments were satisfactory. In 2005, she sued one of the plastic surgeons who performed her breast augmentation because she was not satisfied with the result. She received compensation for which she performed another operation.
