The singer Mario Puglia calmly savor each of his days, after he learned to live without much haste and to fight against anxiety. His daily exercise is gratitude and his passion, music. “It’s the funniest song we’ve done so far”says the Italian-Venezuelan interpreter in an interview with this newspaper.
He mentions that the song with the Colombian was born in the music studio, after someone shared a gum with him. “I like to write about everyday things, about things that happen at the moment and that is unusual”, claims.
Fusing his style with Pitizion’s is something that the artist highlights. “She has a very special touch. I really liked how he was able to implement his sound, his way of being in the song. ‘One day at a time’
He describes his recording work as a journey through different situations and sounds, which appear as a voice of encouragement for those who listen to it. “I like to create a unique sound, the sound that bears my personal stamp, that does not fit into a single genre, but encompasses many influences”, says the artist who mentions among his influences Mac Miller, Drake, The Weeknd y Phill Collins.
In fact, the salsa genre is part of his creative process. “When I want to compose I listen to salsa because it gives me the ability to catch a flow different, write more in depth ”.

Account that the inspiration for One day at a time It emerged during the pandemic, in which he managed to find time for himself and for writing. “I was able to be honest at the time of writing ”, dice.
And it is precisely what he did, the subject with which he most identifies Dear anxiety, released yesterday along with other singles from his album. “It has been the most personal issue because of how special it is. Anxiety attacked me a lot and it is a way of putting it outside to heal too “, he confesses.
