He tied the cat to the kennel for several months. The beast in the cold was “supposed to hunt pigeons”

Little Teodor, despite the difficult weather conditions, probably spent the whole winter outside. The animal was leashed by a kennel and lived among its own feces, mess and dangerous objects. A few days ago, volunteers from the Foundation for the Defense of Animal Rights in Borek, Lesser Poland, intervened.

Despite the winter, he tied the cat to the kennel. The animal was supposed to “hunt pigeons”

According to the Foundation for the Defense of Animal Rights, the owner of the cat behaved aggressively and did not want to let them on the property. They managed to do it only with the help of inspectors from the Krakow Society for the Care of Animals. What they saw made their blood run cold.

Going further, a huge litter box appeared to our eyes, which indicated that the cat had been transported in this place for several months … How did it survive the winter? Frosts after -15 to -20. We do not know

they wrote on Facebook.

The cat’s owner explained that the cat had been tethered by him only the day before and that it was supposed to hunt pigeons. However, numerous traces found on the neck of the quadruped prove that it could have been in difficult conditions for several months. Finally, the cat Teodor was picked up and placed in a shelter, where, under the care of employees and volunteers, he is slowly recovering and is waiting for a responsible home.

The owner has three dogs besides the cat. He was ordered to “improve conditions”

The shelter in Borek also announced in a Facebook entry that apart from the cat Teodor, who was trapped outside, the owner has three more dogs. These were not taken away from him, but only ordered to “improve conditions”. Volunteers announced that in some time they would go for another check to see if the man actually complied with the orders.
