Carlos Saura was a director, writer, film producer and actor. He was born on January 4, 1932 and came from an artistic family. He received the Silver Bear for directing the film “Hunt” from 1966 and “Frozen Peppermint” from 1967. Three of his films received Oscar nominations: “Mama Turns 100” (1979), “Carmen” (1984) and the famous “Tango” (1979). 1998). He also won a BAFTA award for “Carmen”.
