Harington, 36announced that he and his wife, 35await your second son together, more than two years after the birth of their first baby.
He former actor of game of Thrones revealed the news on Friday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallontelling host Jimmy Fallon that his son is “about to get the shock of his life.”

“It’s that he’s about to have a brother or a sister,” Harington continued, before Fallon, 48, offered him a greeting handshake.
“I’m terrified”added the actor. “You know, with the first baby it’s like walking on clouds and dancing through fields of daisies for nine months, well, for the man it is. But this time, reality has hit me differently. You get practical very quickly.”
It was confirmed in February 2021 that Harington and Leslie had welcomed their first baby, a male. Initially they had their pregnancy in september 2020 after Leslie debuted her tummy for the magazine make from United Kingdom.
When asked on The Tonight Show what his eldest son thinks about a newborn entering the family, Harington revealed that he doesn’t think his son has “got it conceptually yet.”
“We are trying to prepare him for that,” he continued. “We point to Rose’s tummy and say, ‘Mommy’s baby, Mommy’s baby.’ And she points to her tummy and says, ‘My baby.’ I’m pretty sure that’s, yeah, you’ll know pretty soon.”

Ahead of the pregnancy talk, Harington opened up to Fallon about her firstborn, sharing that her son is now two and “pretty smart.”
“It’s surprising, since we’re both actors,” he said, referring to himself and Leslie. “We thought, we’re not sure where that’s coming from… He likes the applause. Every time he does something good, we applaud him, and he worries that it pushes him into acting. It’s a bit like, ‘Hey, you might be too smart for this. Go and keep the word, we are sick, we had no choice.’ “

Harington and Leslie first met in the second season of GoT when they played lovers Jon Snow and Ygritte. And while a relationship didn’t last onscreen, they attended their first offscreen red carpet together in 2016.
