International ballet at the TCA
Guayaquil will have the opportunity to appreciate the sublime moments of the universal classical ballet repertoire with the presentation of The ballet of the Russian Tsars, a project that is in full international tour and that this time lands in Ecuador. Attendees will see the pace of two from Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, The Bayadera, The death of the swan and much more, in a show 1 hour and 40 minutes long. ‘Tribute Night’
Batukka and Art Center Theater offer a tribute to three of the most important bands in the history of music Led Zeppelin, Santana y Fleetwood Mac. They will do it through a tour of the most emblematic themes that marked these groups considered pioneers of classic rock in the 70s. The repertoire includes themes such as Black Dog, Kashmir, Whola Lotta Love, the Led Zeppelin; Black Magic Woman, hey how it goes from Santana; Dreams, Sara y Don’t Stop, by Fleetwood Mac. The members of Batukka are Demetrio Maggio (voice), Andrea Castillo (voice and backing vocals), Pamela Aguirre (voice and backing vocals), Bilo Albán (keyboards), Andrés Albán (drums), Marcel Jaramillo (guitar) and Yamil Chedraui (bass and backing vocals). Concert with Argentine camerata
The orchestra The Camerata Porteña from Argentina, under the direction of its founder, maestro Marcelo Rodríguez Scilla, will pay tribute to the work of maestro Astor Piazzolla, one of the greatest composers of the 20th century, not only for his contribution and renewal to tango, but also to the academic music. In this presentation, there will be a journey to the best times of Piazzolla with an avant-garde interpretation of his best songs, as well as the orchestra’s own works, covering different styles and periods of composition. The group was founded in 1986 and since then it has dedicated itself to the renewal of contemporary tango. Its distinctive feature is the successful combination of the subtlety and precision of chamber music with the expressive force of the music of Buenos Aires, both in the arrangements and interpretation of the Piazzollean work and in the conception of his own compositions. siterian paradise is the most recent production of Teatro del Cielo in its premiere season. The work highlights many aspects of the human being through a scenic language that will make us travel through absurdity, madness, incongruity and poetry. Grel and Avelina are two women who live in a house that remains completely closed. Its cloister is the space where both prepare for the arrival of a prosperous dawn and with it a supposed paradise known as El Paraíso Siteriano. Grel, an experienced woman, instructs Avelina with the rules and lessons of a manual, so that she can become a Siterian woman worthy of the coveted paradise.
