The festival of pizza is a good opportunity to prepare the dough yourself. Contrary to appearances, it is not complicated at all. The most important ingredient is flour. Although pizza dough can be made with regular flour, type 00 is the best. Perfect for preparing a perfect cake. The secret ingredient that will make the dough perfectly smooth and elastic is olive oil.
Recipe for pizza. Quick and trivial
Needed ingredients:
- 550 g flour type 00,
- 7 g dry yeast,
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil,
- 1.5 teaspoons of sugar,
- 250 ml of warm water,
- spoon of salt.
Preparation:
- Pour some warm water into a bowl. Add yeast and sugar, stir and set aside for 5 minutes.
- Add the sifted flour, salt and olive oil.
- Stir and start adding the rest of the water. Combine the ingredients with a wooden spoon. The dough should be springy and quite sticky.
- Knead the dough with your hands and knead for about 15 minutes. When it is elastic and soft, divide into 2 or 3 parts, put into bowls and cover with a cloth. Leave for about an hour until it doubles in volume. You can also make the dough in the evening and store it in the fridge overnight.
- After taking it out of the fridge, let it sit for a few minutes until it warms up. Then knead for a few minutes, form a circle and spread it with your fingers on a floured worktop until you get a thickness of about 1 centimeter.
- Preheat the oven to 250-280 degrees together with a baking sheet or a special pizza stone. Fold the dough, put the sauce and your favorite ingredients.
- Bake the pizza for about 10 minutes.
