– This is an amazing thing for me, because I had just published a book and I did not expect any nominations, no invitations to the galleys, and the fact that someone appreciates this book, that she is in such an honorable group, is a really big thing – says Weronika Anna Marczak.
Weronika Anna Marczak on “The Monet Family”: It gives a sense of security
“The Monet Family. Treasure” was published only on October 26 last year, and was among the five nominated books in the category of young adults, also known as young adult literature. I read, it’s hard to tear yourself away from the story of a 14-year-old girl who loses her two most beloved people in a car accident: her mother and grandmother, and after a while she finds out that she has five older brothers on the other continent. The story first conquered Wattpad, where both amateurs and professionals publish, and now it is selling great as a book. On January 25, the first part of volume 2, entitled “The Monet Family. Princess”, premiered in a few days – on February 22 – the next one will be released.
When asked what is so special about this book that so many thousands of girls mainly, but not only, liked it, the author answers:
It seems to me that you can find such a sense of security in it, you can empathize with the main character – Hailie – and you can feel like one of the members of the Monet family. The Monet family stands behind a wall, and each of us, somewhere, needs such closeness and such unity with other people.
