was scheduled to play two concerts in Poland in April 2023. However, both events will not take place. Concerts of the legendary musician’s farewell tour “This is Not a Drill” were boycotted due to Waters’ controversial statements, primarily about the war in Ukraine.

The former musician is famous for his categorical judgments and extreme views, which he expresses in a very unfortunate way. For years, the artist has emphasized that he cares only about world peace, but his aversion to armed conflicts does not justify ignorance.

Roger Waters claims that Joe Biden is the same criminal as Vladimir Putin

In recent months, the artist has accused NATO and the United States of war in Ukraine, recalled the heroism of Russian soldiers during World War II, and undermined the genocide that took place among our neighbors who had been facing the nightmare of war for almost a year. The artist also emphasizes that the media is hostile to Russia, and everyone succumbs to “Western propaganda” without knowing what the truth is.

Even those who had so far turned a blind eye to the musician’s often completely inaccurate comment were disgusted by his subsequent statements. The artist, however, added fuel to the fire once again.

The musician spoke to the editors of the Berliner Zeitung, in an interview he stated that Joe Biden is the same, or maybe even a bigger, criminal than Vladimir Putin.

“Weapons go to Ukraine for one of the most important reasons – it’s profit, which goes to the arms industry. I wonder if Putin is a bigger criminal than Joe Biden and the rest of the politicians who have ruled America since the end of World War II? I’m not sure. Putin did not invade Vietnam and Iraq. Did he do it?” Waters speculates.

The artist also returns to the topic of Poles involved in the war of their neighbors from the very beginning. Waters apparently cannot get over the fact that his concerts in our country have been boycotted. The musician explains in an interview that Poles misunderstand the war and drew too hasty conclusions.

“Putin has always said that he has no interest in taking over western Ukraine or invading Poland or any other country close to the border. All he has said is that he wants to protect the Russian-speaking population in parts of Ukraine where Russian-speakers fear the threat of the far-right a movement that arose after the Maidan coup, a coup that was approved and orchestrated by the US,” says the musician.

Roger Waters called Poles “Russophobes”. The musician claims that our country is vulnerable to “Western propaganda”

The artist emphasizes that Western propaganda has led to extremes and backwardness. He stated that he was completely misunderstood by Poles who canceled his concerts.

“It was a show of Russophobia. Poles are very susceptible to Western propaganda. I would like to tell them that they are brothers and sisters and should gather their leaders to stop this war and think about what it is all about. the rich West got even richer, and the poor people got even poorer. It’s the opposite of what Robin Hood did.”

The artist, in his aversion to war, galloped into disturbing regions. The musician concluded the interview with further very strong accusations that could affect his further career.

“When I follow Biden’s actions, I defend Putin. The US/NATO provocations before the outbreak of the war were extreme and very destructive to the interests of ordinary people in Europe,” the former Pink Floyd member openly admits.
