- Mix water and vinegar in a 1:1 ratio (preferably to get about 1 cup of the product).
- Moisten the cloths with the ready-made agent and wipe the carpet.
- Gently scrub the surface, and after a few minutes, wipe it with a sponge moistened with water.
Some people find the smell of vinegar unpleasant, but it can be overcome with a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Just add them to vinegar and water.
How and with what to dry clean the carpet? Use the properties of potato flour
The carpet can also be dry cleaned. The method is very easy and brings great results – it dries and cleans places stained with fat. It is worth remembering, however, that it will only work on fresh stains that have not yet dried. All you need is potato flour from the kitchen.
- Sprinkle the soil with potato flour and wait 24 hours.
- Vacuum the carpet, taking care to thoroughly remove any flour residue.
If there are unpleasant odors coming from the carpet, potato flour will work as a deodorant – it will eliminate aromas and minor dirt. It is enough to sprinkle the fibers, and after several dozen minutes, vacuum them.
