Neoplants is a start-up that is working on a natural improvement to make them work better than electric air purifiers and limit progressive climate change. Improvements are developed in neutral plant genomes, thanks to which they do not differ at all from classic varieties. Innovation is extremely interesting, but it also comes with huge costs. The price may surprise some people.

What is Neo P1? This is a modified version of a popular plant

The founders of the start-up indicate that the air at home is 5 times more polluted than the air outside. This is due to Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), which include some of the most carcinogenic molecules on the planet. Neo P1 has been developed to effectively capture and transform 4 of the most dangerous volatile organic compounds such as:

• Formaldehyde – commonly emitted from household furniture;
• Benzene – gets into the air from cleaning agents;
• Toluene – a by-product of detergents and paints;
• Xylene – another compound emitted from paints and adhesives.

The creation of Neo P1, a new version of golden epipremnum, is a way to clean the air in a natural and ecological way without the need to use electrical devices. Thanks to this, it is enough to have one plant in the room to work extremely effectively, instead of dozens of different ones. The founders of the start-up write about it like this:

How much does Neo P1 cost? It turns out that the price can knock you off your feet

At the moment, the biggest disadvantage of the Neo P1 is the price. This inconspicuous-looking, although with improved properties, costs a lot of money. It’s not yet available for purchase, but Neoplants has set up a waiting list to be able to purchase the Neo P1 as soon as it hits the market. It is estimated that the price for one piece will oscillate around USD 179, which gives about PLN 778.
