At the age of 10, he decided to take his first steps in the musical world with the vibrant and seductive sounds of salsa. John Paul, Now 15 years old, he tells this newspaper that since he was little he has been influenced by tropical genres thanks to his family, with whom he has shared a taste for music, although with the difference that he is the first singer in the family.
“Once I got up on the table in my house to sing with a pencil in front of my family and everyone was surprised… since I was little an angel (his parents) saw me and decided to support me”remember.
He also says that his father’s work as an artist promoter led him to feel an even greater attraction to this world. Among his musical influences he mentions Marc Anthony, Hector Lavoe, Willie Colon, among others. And from Ecuador he names Jonathan Moon. “I think he is one of the best singers that Ecuador has, because he has a lot of power, he has a lot of charisma and I admire him a lot, I have already worked on two songs with him,” says.
Currently his brother is his manager and who composes his songs. “I thank my family a lot for the support they have given me since I was little. Especially my dad, because he has always looked for a way to contribute something…”declares.
He aspires to study music production at university. His first steps in music were at the age of 10 with the reality I’m the best, kids in which was crowned the winner. “Since I won the reality I was able to start this musical career… and it confirmed my desire”. (AND)
