According to the portal, George P. Wilbur died on Wednesday, February 3, 2023 at the age of 81. He was born in 1941 in Connecticut. Before his acting career, he served in the army and later was a cowboy on a ranch in Arizona. His first production as John Wayne’s stuntman was the western “El Dorado” in 1966.

He was an actor and stuntman. He managed to play in such films as: “Escape from the Planet of the Apes”, “How It’s Done in Chicago”, “The Runner” and “Ghostbusters II”. He also managed to appear in many series. These are titles such as: “Mission: Impossible”, “The Six Million Dollar Man”, “Magnum” and “Dynasty”. As a stuntman, he appeared in “Die Hard”, “Casino” and “Spider-Man” in 2002.

The actor, however, most often starred in horror films. He managed to play in the 1984 film “Arsonists”, and as a stuntman he worked on such productions as “Poltergeist”, “The Exorcist III” or “The Silence of the Lambs”. However, he is best known for his role as Michael Myers – the masked killer who is the main character of the “Halloween” movies.

Wilbur portrayed the character in two films in the series: Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) and Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995). His casting in the role was somewhat of a throwback to the series’ roots, as in the previous third in 1982, the filmmakers decided not to include Myers’ character in the film.
