The jurors of this year’s edition of “AGT: All Stars” had no doubt that they were dealing with a time traveler. Although at first they were skeptical about the young illusionist’s bold idea, the boy presented 3 proofs that even if time cannot be cheated, the human mind can be cheated.

16-year-old Jasper Cherry deals with the art of illusion from an early age.
When I started my adventure with magic, I was 9 years old. I was a rather shy child, so magic helped me a lot. I was fascinated by it and learned as much as possible by performing in front of family and friends. Finally, I asked myself: why not try my hand at Britain’s Got Talent?
– recalled the boy in an interview. Performing on the big stage in front of a well-known jury and millions of TV viewers was a stressful experience for him, but his skill and composure ensured him considerable success. In the domestic edition of “Mam Talent” he reached the finals. Already at the stage of the first casting, Simon Cowell predicted a bright future for him. Years later, they met again in “America’s Got Talent: All Stars”, in which talented contestants from around the world compete against each other.
I seem to be a much more confident performer today.

“Today I’m going to prove that time travel exists”
It was no accident that the participant’s clothes referred to the style of Marty McFly from “Back to the Future”. The young illusionist announced to the audience that he would present evidence of time travel that evening. To demonstrate this, he invited one of the judges, model Heidi Klum, to the stage and asked her to bring her phone. Then she chose a five of spades from the deck and, after showing it to the participant, spectators and other jurors, slipped it between the cards lying face down so that it was the only one with a visible value. She was then asked to repeat the move – this time by slipping the chosen card among the randomly arranged cards that were partly face up and partly face down. Referring to Klum’s profession, he asked her to pose holding her waist open, then took a picture of her with her smartphone.

Cherry also showed the audience the screen of his own phone and started the countdown. As viewers watched, the clock’s digits began to go backwards, and when they were instructed to check their own devices’ screens, they discovered that they had also “jumped back in time” by 5 minutes. As the first proof, the magician decided to lay out a deck of cards – again, the only card with a visible value was the five of spades. What’s more, such a state was also indicated by the photo taken by the model’s phone. The final proof was a video presentation of the 16-year-old’s trip to America – all the numbers he encountered at the airport and in the hotel reflected the card selected by the juror. Although the jurors were surprised, the viewers did not support him with enough votes to advance to the next stage of the program.
