What is Spill? The new app created by Twitter employees who were fired by Elon Musk

Twitter’s fast interface that allows you to connect with people around the world and comment on current or ‘trending’ topics has lost its charm since Elon Musk took over the company.

Although most of the essence of the social network continues to captivate users, Musk’s decision-making has not been liked by many, especially the thousands of workers he laid off to cut costs after investing millions of dollars in the purchase of the platform.

For this reason, a group of workers joined forces to create a new social network, designed to compete with the little blue bird application. They are not doing badly, because since its creation was announced in December last year, they have more than 100,000 registered users and are waiting for the launch, scheduled for this year.

This is “Spill”, which does not differ much from the objective of Twitter but does introduce a more colorful and modern interface.

According to the app team, users will be able to create, comment, expand or share a random thought, called a “spill”, with the public. In addition, it will be possible to organize chat events in the application with friends, both virtually and in real life. And, if the user’s content goes viral, you would automatically get paid through blockchain technology.

“We are building Spill using an Artificial Intelligence language model to improve content moderation and user support, blockchain technology to credit and reward creators, and partnerships with major entertainment brands to deliver exclusive content worth worth talking about ”, mentions his website.
