Early retirement is paid to seniors who were born after December 31, 1948, and before January 1, 1969. However, it is worth knowing that not everyone is entitled to it. People who performed work in special conditions or of a special nature can count on it. However, this is not the end of the criteria. What should you pay attention to before submitting an application?

Seniors who meet several conditions can count on early retirement. It regulates them from February 7, 1983. First of all, they have the right to receive such benefits persons who have achieved the required length of service in special conditions or of a special nature. Additionally, as at December 31, 2008:

  • have reached the required age, which varies depending on gender and type of work,
  • have an appropriate length of contributory and non-contributory periods (20 years for women, 25 years for men),
  • are not members of OFE or waive funds from OFE for the benefit of the state budget.

Failure to do so may result in the application being rejected. Check if you have it

Just meeting the requirements may not be enough to get an early . In addition, you must have the appropriate entry on the employment certificate, which must prove that the position you hold entitles you to it. Without meeting this condition, the Social Insurance Institution may reject the application. Applies to seniors who:

  • performed the type of work strictly in accordance with the list, department and items listed in the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of February 7, 1983,
  • occupied a job position listed in the appropriate list, section, position and item in the ministerial order or resolution,
  • prove the period during which work in particular conditions was performed on a permanent basis and on a full-time basis applicable to a given position.

If the employer did not use departmental work lists, it is enough for the position indicated on the certificate to be consistent with the type of work or position listed in the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of February 7, 1983.
