The preliminary phase is in which the chirigotas, comparsas, choirs and quartets that will go to the next phasethe quarterfinal, which starts on February 6, one day after the children’s final and two days after the end of the qualifying.
Although most of the sessions are seven participating groups, today there are eight. Why what better day to extend a session than a Friday, TRUE? Each session ends up lasting between four and five hours, depending on the time spent in the performances and the number of groups performing.

Each and every one of the preliminary sessions of this first phase of the COAC can be followed live. The bad luck is that can’t be seen in the theater. Not because it is prohibited or banned, but because the tickets sold out the first day they went on sale, all the tickets for each of the preliminary phases. And although those of the following phases have yet to come out, the same is expected to happen.
