Pepe Pereza communicator from Cuenca, used his knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) to create unique characters, inspired by various cities in Ecuador. The images were created with Midjourney, an artificial intelligence program with which its users can create images from textual descriptions.

His creations show the characters, who could well be part of series or movies, with the background of the city he represents. The artistic work is the second carried out by this communicator, he had previously done other villain-themed arts, These went viral on social media.

Midjourney has been working to improve its algorithms, releasing new versions every few months. Version 2 of their algorithm was released in April 2022, and version 3 in July. The alpha iteration of version 4 was released to users on November 10, 2022. Artists and hobbyists will be able to create better designs every time.
