In an interview for the naTemat.pl portal, Katarzyna Dowbor recalled one of the renovations carried out by the team of the “Our New Home” program. The host confessed that in addition to the derogatory living conditions of the family, she was also concerned about the fate of their pet. The heroes’ dog was tied on a very short chain and had never known freedom. Before the creators of the show undertook the metamorphosis of the house, they agreed with the participants of the program that they would take care of improving the living conditions of the animal. “He was a large and gentle dog, kept on a chain and never taken out. Before the renovation, we agreed that he would have better conditions, we bought him a kennel – Dowbor.
The attitude of the heroes of the program disappointed the host. Dowbor had to intervene
Katarzyna Dowbor decided to pay the heroes of the program an unexpected visit. Unfortunately, what she found there was very disappointing. The host noted that despite earlier arrangements and promises, the family did not keep their word. The dog of the show’s participants was still chained, and its living conditions were scandalous.
Dowbor was concerned about the fate of the animal and this time she decided to intervene, reporting the matter to the appropriate institutions. “When I arrived, the dog was chained again, and it didn’t even reach this kennel. The lady was outraged that I was disturbing her, but we talked and I reported the matter to the animal foundation to monitor the situation. I don’t agree with such things. If we feel responsible for the family, then for the whole family, and for me animals are family members – said the hostess of the “Our New Home” program.
